NCCGA Mountain Region Preview

The Mountain Region is playing at Heritage Eagle Bend on March 29 & 30th, and now that the the weather is turning nice for a spell, it looks like we may actually get some practice in before that.

The Region contains Fort Lewis College, Colorado School of Mines, Air Force Academy, and University of Denver; sadly Colorado University Club Golf has run into some issues and will only be sending an individual or two.

The region was started last fall and although the turnout to tournaments were not great, CSM's Logan Ward went to Nationals as an individual.  If Logan returns this year I'd expect to see him make a return trip.  Also, the CSM Golf Club President has informed me to watch Michael McNulty as he was just a few strokes off of making last year as well. We will see if CSM can win the region again with a bit more competition, and while playing at some new courses.

The second tournament of the season will be played at Antler Creek. The link to the courses home pages are listed below:

Looking forward to a great season here at the Mountain Region!
