CGP began in the wonderful city of Boston, a city ripe with more colleges than any other other in the nation. In addition to schools, there is a wide array of courses from the rocky shores of Cape Cod to the Autumn foliage that lines most courses in Central and Western Mass.
Par 5 8th at Crumpin Fox, Bernardston, MA - #5 on Golfweek's Top Courses you can play in MA. CGP members save $44 per round!
So what about those of us who want to venture outside of Mass and try out other courses in the US? Well thanks to CGP Leadership, we’ve been expanding quite rapidly. And we won’t stop until we’ve hit golf courses from coast to coast. Although CGP is still quite concentrated in the New England area, we’ve begun to team up with some courses in California - CGP Founders Kris Hart and Mike Belkin were in California last week!
Thinking of taking a vacation over to the West coast? Or are you studying in California? Well, there are several courses both north and south and the list will continue to grow. Want to help make it grow faster? Give us some suggestions!
In Sacramento? Fear not, we’ve got a few courses in California’s Capital including Teal Bend and Turkey Creek Golf Course (pictured above).
Bay area? We’ve got the Golf Club at Roddy Ranch just outside of San Fran in Antioch
If you’re heading more south into the deserts of California, we’ve got you covered there as well! Be sure to check out Shadow Ridge at Marriott International if you can handle playing 18 in 100 degree heat!
Not a fan of the desert golf? That’s fine. Head over to Manhattan Beach just outside of LA to play Manhattan Beach Golf Course.
The one course I’d love to see on the CGP site is Golf’s Mecca: Pebble Beach Golf Links on the Monterey Peninsula. No way am I going to pay $500 on a college student budget even for a course like that. But oh boy, just imagine the cool Pacific breeze and the ocean scent as you line up your tee shot on the 7th hole...
Well, I think it’s time for a California golf vacation. I’ll be in California if you need anything. See y’all later!
