With the first tournament in the Philadelphia area kicking off, I don't think we could have asked for a more beautiful day. The weather was perfect for a Sunday tournament and Riverwinds was in great shape. The top better ball team was the Delaware Golf Club Summer Squad and the scramble team winners were The FORE Amigos. Looking forward to seeing this momentum roll into Scotland Run, a fantastic south Jersey golf course.
The Nextgen City Tour hosted our 1st golf tournament of the season in Philly at Ron Jaworski's RiverWinds Golf & Tennis Club on Jun 11, 2017. Team Delaware Club Golf Summer Squad won the Best Ball division with a combined score of 139. Team The FORE Amigos won the Scramble division with a combined score of 131. Kyle Plusch & Chris Cornwell were the top pair in the Best Ball division with a pair total of 69. Nate Bomberger & Ricky Gross were the top pair in the Scramble division with a pair total of 62. The low individual score was recorded by Chris Cornwell shooting a score of 71. Closest to the pin contests were won by Nate Bombarder 2X. Ryan Carroll took home the long drive prize too!
