#GOLFIS a chance to escape.
There are so many stresses in life from finding a job, to keeping a happy relationship, to making ends meet with your finances. Where are the breaks in life? It’s not very often that after you get turned down from a job, get in a fight with a friend, or can’t afford something you really want that you can’t stop smiling.
That’s when I turn to golf. Now I am not the best golfer out there -- my friends can verify that for me, but that doesn’t stop me from going out on that beautiful course at 6:30 a.m. for a golf getaway to see the sun rise and tee off on hole one. Golf is the one thing that is a joy, no matter what else is going on in life.
If I were to shoot a 67 or a 120, I am going to walk on that first hole and off that last hole with a smile on my face. I urge everyone to play a round with a friend, family member or even a stranger and tell me that it doesn’t make you grow closer together. I challenge you to tell me that playing with a friend isn’t one of the funniest, best five hours you have had in a long time. I challenge you to tell me that you’ll never play another round of golf again in your life.
#GOLFIS a blessing, a place to forget pain and have a blast.
